TTY Console is a simple serial communications stack. It can be used to communicate with any on-line setup that allows a TTY (line-at-a-time) terminal type. It is not a terminal emulator, so escape codes for terminal emulation will appear as characters in the display, as they would in any terminal running as TTY.
The purpose of the stack is to showcase a set of XCMD's that perform all the basics of serial communication, as well as a new, previously unreleased XCMD to support Kermit file transfers. The TTY Console stack has a fairly extensive on-line help that gives plenty of information about the stack and the XCMD's, including how to install Kermit in a stack of your own.
